I’m confused, which is correct – the application or their website?
I followed a link on Bowens website http://www.greenoceanseacucumbers.com/images%202/New%20plan%202.pdf and it shows 115 ha for the tenure area.
I went to the government posting for the tenure http://arfd.gov.bc.ca/ApplicationPosting/getfile.jsp?PostID=30025&FileID=40897&action=view
And it shows 107 ha.
Which is it?
Wally
Hi FOBS, our surveyor did the calculation and it was 115 ha. I did confirm that. I can’t respond to the Ministry of Forests and Lands calculation.
Was it up to Mr. Bowen to provide the proper information? Is it another mistake, like putting Geoducks on the first application as well as the wrong maps in the paper? I don’t believe that Ministry of Forests and Lands needed to do any calculations, you filed the application.
Gartley Bay…. no not another mistake……….I did provide the proper information and the proper plans for the present application and areas to a very high degree of accuracy…. sorry but the ministry made a mistake on our application plans and included an old application plan with geoducks mentioned…….. and that was not part of our management plans as you can see. (Now you have the management plan read it and tell me if it mentions geoducks… thats interesting it doesn’t. I trust the legal surveyors plans before the Ministry of Lands calculations………..I think you are able to figure that out.
HI Gartley Bay, Dan Bowen did provide the proper information. The geoduck mistake was made by Ministry of lands not him. Remember their appology at the information meeting. As you can see the management plan does not mention geoducks so how can that be his mistake… but that doesn’t matter now because we are beyonf that.
Second, the area of the tenure was calculated by the legal surveyor thatiis his job. I trust his work. So what is your point!
